The Advisor for Girl’s Child Education in Tonj State says women should be given chance to participate in the peace process in order to restore peace in the country.
Speaking to Don Bosco Radio, Mary Nyideng Geng stresses that restoring peace is a collective responsibility regretless of gender.
She also calls for women’s participation in decision making process in a society.
Geng urges South Sudan government to empower women because they play a big role in the implementation of the revitalized peace agreement.
She advises her fellow women to be peace makers since they are the world’s mothers.
