The Parish Priest of St Peter and Paul Cathedral in Torit, is encouraging South Sudanese to reconcile and love one another as brothers and sister in Christ.

Speaking to Radio Emmanuel, Fr Leonsio Omina Okwormoi says reconciliation and love reactivates faith in God.

He adds that true believer must follow God’s commands.

‘To be partakers of this body, we must reconcile and love to unite to reactivate the covenant of Jesus with humanity in union with Christian community. Therefore, We must individually and communally practice to live according to God and I must love one another. If you have problem with somebody, you better reconcile with your sister or brother to make us understand how important God is to everybody’.

Fr. Omina advises everybody to avoid bitter words in a society or work places.

He urges people to show good behaviors wherever they are.

‘Let us continue showing the seeds of love through our activity, our work, through communication. Good language not insolent language, not separating others. Bitter words do not help. It’s not a good way of leaving; let us have good language to show that we are with God. It’s good that he has blessed us. So we have to love every one even if he is far because in the Eucharist we are one’.
