The Deputy Governor of Tonj says the security situation in the northern part of the state is calm.
Santino Ding Wek mentions a meeting for peaceful coexistence between the farmers and cattle keepers is ongoing.
He explains that they reminded people about peace initiative and reconciliation in the community.
The official assures citizens that the issues causing insecurity in the state has been resolved.
‘For Peace to prevail and development to take place people must work together,’ he adds.
The deputy Governor was speaking on a telephone interview to Don Bosco Radio in Tonj on Wednesday.
