The South Sudan conflict left a huge mark on the country and the people desire for lasting peace.
 
Executive Director of Solidarity South Sudan Fr Jim Green told Radio Easter that there is great need for peace to prevail in the country.
 
He encourages citizens of Yei to have patience and trust in the Lord for strength to carry on.
 
Fr. Jim explains that the Israelite reign in the desert for forty years they did not lose faith, the people should not lose hope too.
 
The priest expresses disappointment because of the situation in the country that has left only one parish functioning in Yei Diocese.
 
The Executive director was speaking to Radio Easter on his departure to Juba after three days visit to the Catholic Diocese of Yei.
