Commissioner of Besselia in collaboration with Youth Organization for Social Action with support from Food and Agricultural Organization or FAO over the weekend distributed agricultural seeds to citizens in the area.
Jacinto Matthew Mboro said the purpose of the distribution is to let citizens in the county cultivate and produce food for consumption and surplus for the market, Voice of Hope Radio reports.
He added that the wars in the country have made people to be totally depending on humanitarian aid.
The commissioner urges the citizens in the area to cultivate because all types of seeds are given to them.
He asks the communities to encourage their sons and daughters to cultivate for the development of the state.
Commissioner Mathew encourages the citizens to plant more trees in order to protect the environment in the country.
