The Chairman of the Council of Rumbek University of Science and Technology, on Saturday arrived in Rumbek.
Professor Moses Machar Kachuol told Good News Radio on Tuesday that he is in the state to know the university for the first time as appointed to be its council chairman
Machar appealed to the three states of greater lakes to support the University of Rumbek to become a better learning higher institution.
He encouraged the teaching staff and students to endure challenges that the university that might have come due to economic crisis in the country.
The Professor Kachuol served as vice Chancellor of the Universities of Bahr el Ghazal and Upper Nile, and Second Vice President of the Sudan during Bashir’s era.
