Children Harmony Organization launched community care program for child protection and awareness of people on bad practices and cultures within societies.
Susan Achol Wek, TOCH Women Empowerment Project Coordinator in Kwajok said the program is in four areas of Gogrial State with four groups of 25 participants each, Don Bosco Radio reports.
She added that the aim of this project is to let the community know about what they have been discussing in the past 15 weeks of activities.
Achol said after this project they are expecting the community to change the way they were treating women and girls.
The coordinator requested the community to treat both male and female equally because God created people the same.
She urged the partners and the national government to support such a program for the better change.
The speaker made this remarks to Voice of Hope Radio during an interview on Sunday in Kwajok.
