National Security arrested medical workers of Adol Primary Health Care Center of Eastern Bahr Naam County for transporting wounded patients without Form Eight document from the police.
According to Good News Radio, County Health Department Administrator Nokrel Mayom Ayiei says the wounded patients were brought with serious bleeding beyond their capacity.
He says their quick response to rescue lives of patients was seen illegal and they were accused of supporting criminals.
Mayom explains that one of the patients who was in comma died and they managed to transport other two wounded ones for treatment in Rumbek State Hospital, but they were detained at a checkpoint.
Chief Inspector of Police in Rumbek county Makoi Amerdit admits that they have received three medical workers of Adol linked to the death of a soldier.
He calls on medical employees to cooperate with police in such incidents to avoid misunderstanding in the work.
Amerdit notes that the court will try the case after the admitted suspect recover.
He did not give details when they are going to release the medical workers.
