The pupils of Ager Gum Primary School staged a peaceful protest on Monday morning to state Ministry of Education office demanding authorities to bring their teachers back.
Agergum long serving teachers Paulino Akhool and his companion Bol Malek confirmed to Good News Radio that, the orders came from the Ministry of Education.
Akhool says they were suspended together with his deputy last week by director general of the ministry with no reasons.
According to the head teacher, Paulino Akol Nguekcok, there is no proper written document regarding their transfer, but that he respects their decision.
Pupils reject the views of their head teacher.
Western Lakes State Minister of Education, Joseph Malith Mathiang admits that state education system is facing many challenges.
The ministry formed the board of inquiry and arranged transfer plans of the two teachers, he notes.
The minister adds that education policy grantees head teachers to serve only for two years and later transferred to other schools to show transparency and policy maintenance.
Mathiang suspects some elements were to be behind the protest and appeals to the learners to be calm and accept ministerial decision.
