Torit Catholic Bishop is calling on South Sudanese to get rid of hatred by accepting peace in their hearts.

While preaching during a mass at Kuron Peace Village Youth Centre, Bishop Stephen Ameyu Martin Mulla says to have the peace of Christ means no one should kill fellow human being.

He told faithful to show love to their neighboring villages in a way God wants His people to live.

Bishop Ameyu is certain that the next generation in South Sudan will experience a peaceful country through education.

He told parents to commit their children to school so as to experience a country that considers everybody equal and shares resources together.

Kuron Peace Village was established in 2003 by Bishop Emeritus of the Catholic Diocese of Torit.

It is located in the far east of Kapoeta State, bordering Jie and Murle community of Boma State.
