The students of Hope and Resurrection Secondary School staged a walk protest from the school to Rumbek, demanding for justice for the killing of their innocent teachers.

UN Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS Field Coordinator in Rumbek, Kwame Dwamena urges the learners to calm down and be courageous, Good News Radio reports.

Dwamena urges the students and the community of greater Lakes State to end the tradition of taking the law into their hands.

Western Lakes State Minister of Culture Youth and Sports, Joseph Marial Mayak advises the students to live the matter to the government to solve it.

He says the police will pursue and arrest the perpetrators to face justice.

This is not the first time people are being killed in Lakes State.

Last year November 15th, a Kenyan priest who was a principal was shot and killed by armed youth in Cueibet teacher’s college.
