A public health team in Rumbek Municipality on Monday carried out hygiene and sanitation supervision in Rumbek Town Market.
After inspection, Deputy Inspector for Public Health in Rumbek municipality and market hygiene supervisor, Jiir Makuei says their visit in the town aims at proper cleanliness in the town.
Makuei says their roles are to ensure that shops are clean.
Health Inspector Gabriel Makur David says he is very serious about his area which is currently occupied by NGOs, hotels and other companies to keep hygiene.
The garbage supervisor for Rumbek market, John Maluoc Ater, says lack of battery for the lorry slows down their work for three weeks without collecting garbage in the town.
He appeals to the high authorities and NGOS to support the office with transport vehicle.
