The Diocesan Coordinator of the Catholic Diocese of Rumbek has reminded all about the dangers of pride in any society.
According to Fr John Mathiang, pride is evil and can create misunderstanding among South Sudanese.
He adds that boastfulness and self- exaltation are the major causes of disunity.
Fr Mathiang says South Sudanese can fight hatred, jealousy and division if they act as ambassadors of peace and unity in their localities.
He urges the faithful to be true followers of Christ by doing well to others.
The Diocesan Coordinator was preaching to the congregation on Sunday in Rumbek.
