The Catholic Bishop of Torit on Saturday consecrated the Convent of the Sisters of the Congregation of Mary Mother of the Church at St Joseph Narus parish
According to Radio Emmanuel, the convent was modernized into permanent structures in 2017 to help in formation of the committed girls who aspire to sisters.
Bishop Stephen Ameyu Martin says the church consecrates all things because God is the creator of the universe.
He told Christians to understand that all things will return to God to be made perfect at the end of time.
The Catholic prelate urges Christians to dedicate their lives to God regardless of races and positions on earth.
He says it is possible for human beings to test immortality through the gift of Christ.
As Bishop Ameyu continues his visit to the Eastern Deanery, he encourages parents to allow their children to serve the church by joining priestly, brotherly and sisterly vocation.
