The Secretary-General of Tonj Local Football Association says referees will start their exams this Saturday set by South Sudan Sports Association in Juba.

Lino Longar Malual requests all referees who attend the course to prepare themselves for the exams, Don Bosco Radio reports.

Secretary-General Longar explains that the deputy governor will grace the event.

He mentions that the exams are done deliberately in order for the referees to have certificates to be considered as trained officials.

‘If you do your exams well, then, you will have high chance of refereeing anywhere within South Sudan. So please never leave that chance”, he encourages.

The Secretary-General encourages officials to be brave and have confidence in order to pass their exams.

The tournament is still on progress and the quarter finals are coming to an end and semi-finals follows next week.
