The Chief in Tonj Municipal Council calls on the government of Tonj to disarm civilians to reduce random killing and looting of proprieties across the state.
Don Bosco Radio quotes Abraham Kol Mawut saying the communal conflict among the citizens in Tonj occurs due to availability of guns.
He explains that weapons are supposed to be used for defending the state and the country.
Kol urges the national government to collect guns back to the rightful owners who are supposed to carry them.
He appeals to citizens to love one another as they are people of one state and one nation.
The chief made the comment during an exclusive interview with Don Bosco Radio on Thursday in Tonj.
