‘Prison is to reform people’, says new director-general

The newly appointed Director-General of Prison Services in Tonj State, says the prison is to discipline individuals who break laws to change them to good citizens.
 
Marko Awuoc Madut told Don Bosco Radio that his first priority is to unite all prison wardens across the state in their respective units.
 
The Director-General urges government officials who took the prison wardens as their guards to send them back to their units.
 
The public should respect laws of the prison, he calls.
 
The official made his remarks to Radio Don Bosco on Tuesday in Tonj.
