Heavy wind blows off 47 shops in Tonj

A heavy wind on Friday in Tonj up roof and destroy 47 shops and an uncountable buildings inside the Town.
 
According Radio Don Bosco, the storm that occurred at the evening around 7:15 PM, affected parts of Don Bosco John Lee Memorial Hospital buildings and staff quarters.
 
Director of the Hospital Sister Shanty Anthony said the wind destroyed their compound fence and the store.
 
She explained that it is not in the control of human beings but only God can control everything.
 
One of the staff revealed that the heavy rainy affected the hospital seriously and some parts of Arkangelo Ali Association TB section.
 
A restaurant manager said the wind was terrible wind that had never happened which destroy the whole compound and restaurant.
 
Konga Hawa, Manager of Mabior Ajiec told Journalists that the heavy removed roofs of her two houses’ with six rooms, but that no one was hurt in the disaster.
 
The wind also affected seriously the residents of main town and Hai-Zendia where it’s up roof a lot of buildings and trees.
