The UN Mission in South Sudan in Wau State joined the South Sudan People’s Defence Forces or SSPDF in celebrating May 16.
Head of UNMISS in Wau State, Sum Muhmure appreciated the heroines and heroes that made the day to become historical, Voice of Hope Radio reports.
The official says the trust building between government and the SPLA/M In Opposition and other political parties had made achievements for Wau State to become a peaceful area.
The government should make a conference for the solution of Kuarjena conflict for everlasting peace between cattle keepers of Tonj and farmers of Wau State, Muhmure asks.
He vows that UNMISS in Wau is committed to support citizens after the conflict in order to recover.
The official made the remarks during May 16, ceremony in Wau Stadium last week.
