The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in Tonj issued a circular policy regulating the use of tractors by the farmers in the state.
James Ayiek Bath says that the policy is to maintain the usage and proper maintenance of the tractors in the state.
He explains that a farmer has to pay 2,000 SSP and give 20 liters of fuel to the driver and buy some spare parts of the tractor in case of any damage.
Ayiek says there are policies and regulations to be followed when hiring the tractors for cultivation before taking for drivers to maintain them.
Minister spoke over the weekend to Don Bosco Radio in Tonj.
