The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Corporation has dismissed forty South Sudanese diplomats in different countries for failing to report back to the country and their work places.

Spokesman of the ministry Mawien Makol Ariik told CRN that the office sent emails to the forty diplomats to return to the country because their time of mission ended, but they did not respond.

He says the ministry decided to dismiss them based on its regulation.

Ariik says the ministry will give their positions to other South Sudanese, but if any of the diplomats wants to return to his position, he should follow other procedures.

He requests the forty diplomats to hand over their documents or they withhold their arrears.

The Spokesperson appeals to them to respect the regulations.

However some South Sudanese citizens appreciate the ministry for regulating its staff working abroad.

They comment that some diplomats are doing nothing for the country.

Another citizen calls on the government to regulate and avoid opening numerous embassies.

The citizens spoke to CRN on Friday and acknowledged the dismissal of the forty diplomats as their mission has ended.
