Acting Director blames parents for child labour

Acting Director for Child Welfare says parents and the whole community of South Sudan is responsible for child labour.
 
Voice of Hope Radio quoted Joseph Lino Mongu blaming parents and those who are forcing children to do heavy work.
 
He mentions that the biggest cause of child labor is the economic situation of the country.
 
Joseph notes that his office is conducting awareness to families regularly to reduce the practice.
 
Lino also encourages families to take good care of their children and stop playing with their future.
 
The official was speaking to Voice of Hope Radio during Saut Al Sabah program.
