Alfred Taban a veteran Journalist ‘was a courageous man who only feared God, says Vice President.
Addressing South Sudanese multitudes on Saturday during the last funeral rites of the late media hero at Nyakuron Cultural Center, James Wani Igga, said South Sudan lost a great man.
He consoles the people of South Sudan particularly people of Kajo-Keji County and Limi Boma to be courageous.
The vice president testified that the late media legend died early when South Sudan needs people like him because of his experiences.
Prof Taban Lo Liyong said God loves South Sudan that is why Pop Francis knelt down to kiss the feet of its leaders in Vatican.
He cautions that it may be a blessing or a curse because South Sudanese exercised the independence unwisely.
The officials were addressing gathering at the last funeral service of Alfred Taban Lo Gune who died in Nakasero Hospital in Kampala, Uganda on April 27.
