Mary Ajith Goch says the only way for journalists’ safety in South Sudan is to operate within their journalistic frameworks and standards.
 
Media Authority Director Elijah Alier Kuai urges journalists to have a sense of humanity and peace in their reporting.
 
The speakers made the remarks on Thursday during the celebration of the World Press Freedom Day that was postponed on May 3rd due to the arrangements of the burial of late Alfred Taban.
 
The Forum was grace with the Peace Journalism Award from the AMDISS to the five journalists that have extensively reported on peace journalism in South Sudan.
