Authorities arrest seven criminals allegedly ambushing along Rumbek-Tonj road

Seven alleged criminals who used to ambush vehicles and killing people on the road to Rumbek were arrested on Tuesday, according to Governor of Tonj State.
 
Mathew Mathiang Magoordit says the investigation is undergoing and the criminals are asked to tell the whereabouts of those who escaped to be brought to book, Don Bosco Radio reports.
 
He says drivers will move freely because the people who were threat to them are arrested.
 
The Governor notices that the situation between Thony and Yar communities is now calm as there is no conflict among the two communities.
 
He claims that the perpetrators have been killing people since the leadership of two former governors and they were not been found.
 
Governor Mathiang made the remarks on Tuesday in Tonj before he left for Juba.
