Civil society and government to hold farmers pastoralists’ dialogue in Wau

Civil organizations and Wau State government are planning to conduct a dialogue to end the conflict of cattle keepers of Tonj and farmers of Wau states to have peace with one another.
 
Alfred Angok Wol a chairperson of an organization says they submitted their petition to resolve problems of farmers and pastoralists.
 
He adds that the conflict has displaced more than one hundred thousand and five hundred citizens from their places.
 
Angok mentions that the governor on Monday promised to conduct peace conference in Wau State, but that date and place for the dialogue are not fixed.
 
The activist calls on communities of Tonj and Wau to share all kind of resources that they have.
