The Director for Radio and Television in Tonj State has announced that no announcement should be broadcast over the radio without signature from the Ministry of Information.
Santino Manut Walgot told Don Bosco Radio that all radio stations in Tonj are not allowed to broadcast any announcement whether from the government or local people.
Manut explains that the approval aims at crosschecking the announcements to avoid misinforming the public.
He appeals to all radio stations to cooperate with the ministry to discourage disseminating false information to the communities.
