The Chairperson of Health Committee member at Wau State assembly raised concern over the bad condition of mortuary at Wau Teaching Hospital which needs immediate attention.
Ageu Athuai Ageu says some institutions and citizens around Wau Teaching hospital are faced with bad smell from the mortuary.
He adds that, the visit by the health committee to the hospital was an invite by citizens’ living near the mortuary.
Athuai mentions that, the hospital is facing number of challenges on the management of mortuary which needs urgent intervention from the concerned authorities.
The official pointed out that Wau Teaching Hospital and the town should resolve the issue immediately.
Effort by Voice of Hope Radio to get comments from Wau Teaching Hospital and Wau municipal authorities was not fruitful.
The official made this statement after their visit to Wau Teaching Hospital.
