Jealous and revenge claims many lives, says priest

A Catholic priest at Sacred Heart parish in Tonj says many people have been killed in South Sudan because of revenge and jealousness.
 
Fr. Leo Arokianathan says when people practice revenge and hatred, they forget the love and mercy of God in their midst.
 
Leo warned citizens to refrain from the spirit of revenge, hatred and tribalism and embrace forgiveness.
 
The cleric says the practice an eye for eye will not make the country to progress.
 
Fr. Arokianathan encourages Christians to adapt the attitude of saying sorry for everlasting peace to reign in South Sudan.
 
The priest was preaching on Sunday during at Sacred Heart Parish in Tonj.
