Intergovernmental Authority on Development or IGAD welcomes the appointment of Gedu Andargachew as the new Foreign Minister of Ethiopia and Chairperson of IGAD Council of Ministers.
IGAD Executive Secretary Ambassador Mahboub Maalim in a statement congratulates Gedu on his appointment.
He expresses readiness to work with the new leaders and assured the minister of his full support.
