Advisor calls for end to gender-based violence

Gbudue State Advisor on Gender, Peace and Reconciliation says gender-based violence should immediately come to an end.
 
Nora Zangabeyo says the state government is working together with lawmakers and enforcement agents to ensure that all sorts of gender-based violence finish, Anisa Radio reports.
 
Nora says the government is also advocating at the community level to make sure that the laws are put in place.
 
She urges the public not take the law into their hands.
 
The Advisor mentions that there is high level of gender violence committed against women in Gbudue state.

The state advisor stresses that it is a collective responsibility to put an end to the practice in the society.
