Peace Friends Association in collaboration with UNMISS has for the first time launched a foundation of police station at Hai Kosti.
UNPOL Coordinator, Nyiree Rwang, expresses her gratitude to partners for the support and cooperation.
She says having a police station in the area creates more cooperation between the police and the communities and it improves the security.
On the other hand, one of the members of Relief, Re-integration Program Mohammed Salahaldin says, before the agreement people left some of the areas due to insecurity.
He adds that by launching the foundation of police station, it can decrease criminal activities and stabilizes security.
The officials made the statement during the launch of the foundation of police station in Hai Kosti.
