Financial crisis hits Second Division teams, says chairperson

The Chairperson of Sports in Tonj says the economic hardship in the country has forced eight teams of Second Division to dropout in the state.
 
Valentino Machar Ater says in 2017 to 2018, there were twenty-two teams in the football association in the state, but due to financial crisis some teams quit.
 
Machar attributes decline of sports activities to the economic hardship in the country and lack of support from the office.
 
The Chairperson discloses that the only way to improve sports in South Sudan is to have proper training of coaches and practices to the players.
 
He advises youth to refrain from fornication, stealing among many other crimes.
 
He made his remark on Wednesday in the sport office in Tonj.
