Tonj governor visits to Aweil to get soldier to disarm civilians

The Governor of Tonj last week visited Aweil to request for soldiers in order to do disarmament in his state.
 
Don Bosco Radio quoted Major General Mathew Mathiang Magoordit saying the disarmament is done in order for the civilians not to destroy themselves with weapons.
 
He adds that another reason to have good security and maintenance of peace across the state.
 
Mathiang points out that in two weeks’ time soldiers will arrive to continue with the disbarment.
 
‘There is no looting of some people’s cows in this month and it is through well tied security”, governor stresses.
 
He advises his citizens to stop robbing property of other people in the neighbouring states.
 
Governor Mathew Mathiang Magoordit made his remark to Don Bosco Radio after his arrival from Aweil on Monday.
