Government and SPLM/A in Opposition around Wau State has attended a one-day workshop on peace agreement.
The workshop brought together CTSAMVM, UNMISS, IO and government officials in partnership with CEPO.
UNMISS’ Representative Dr James Patrick Ibrahim, says the purpose of the training was to let them understand their role on the implementation of the revitalized agreement.
CTSAMVM Team Leader in Wau, Colonel Benson Mande noted that the present of CTSAMVM in South Sudan is to make sure that parties implement the agreement without any violations because peace is the only priority.
State Governor Angelo Taban Baijo appreciates the role played by civil society organizations and CTSAM.
He calls on SPLM/A IO and all politicians to implement the peace deal to reduce South Sudanese from suffering.
