He says the recent declaration by the western lakes state Governor of not willing to work with politicians and his plan to dismiss and arrest the elected MPs that caused misery to the people in the state.
Awur urges the government to remain committed to the existing peace and the community norms while considering its prime duty to protect citizens and their rights.
He appeals to the Western Lakes governor to immediately release the former speaker Nganga Marik or send him to court for trial.
The activist urges the national government instruct the governor not to continue harassing citizens, dismissing the elected MPs without notification from their areas.
