Torit citizens are calling on the national government to speed up the implementation of the signed peace agreement for lasting peace to prevail.
James calls on conflicting parties to implement the signed deal to end South Sudan’s suffering.
He believes that quick implementation of the revitalize peace agreement will pave way for the construction of roads and basic health service delivery.
‘ I expect him to come and implement actions that they have been speaking about for the last five, ten years with that we need service like construction of roads to connect all the counties not even the counties but throughout the state, health facilities may be another two three hospitals Torit is very big the population is growing and also water very important whether magwi, Nimule, Torit, Hiyala and throughout the whole country.’

Keji appeals to the National Government and humanitarian organizations to construct roads linking Counties for easy transportation of farm produce
‘The first thing we want is peace to prevail in Torit state the arrangement of the security structure. We are people of agriculture since war started in south Sudan we in Torit state we didn’t join the fight specially people of Geria county they are cultivating. All we need is roads to connect us with the rest of the states to market our agricultural produce.’
The citizens were expressing their expectations during a peace rally at Torit freedom square.
