The Governor of Yei River state is telling people of greater Yei that, peace is not what has been signed on papers but what is in the hearts of human beings.
Emmanuel Adil Anthony says peace should come from the hearts and thoughts of people so that they can live with clear conscience.
Governor Adil believes that the country will not develop if citizens still resend one another.
He adds it is important to reconcile and forgive each other for peace to prevail.
The governor regrets any behavior by the soldiers who might have caused grave damages during the crisis.
The Governor made these remarks during the Kupera county peace and reconciliation conference in Yei on Wednesday
