Nimule Town Council Education Supervisor says there are more girls enrolled in schools than boys in the Payam.
Akeri Angelina Asienzo told Radio Emmanuel that Sixty percent 60% of the school populations in the Payam are girls.
Angelina says on the contrary boys are on the streets hustling to make ends meet for their families.
Head Teacher of Fulla Secondary School Tako Charles confirms that girls’ enrolment is high in lower classes but reduces drastically in upper classes.
Charles attributes the dropout rates to cases of early marriages and teenage pregnancies in the communities.
The speakers appeal to parents to send their children to school.
