The United Nations Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS in collaboration with the State Ministry of Information, Culture, Youth and sports on Friday launched peace tournament in Yei.
Speaking during the event Minister of Information, Culture, Youth and sports Azariah Duku says the football tournament is for peace.
The minister notes that through such gatherings that people gain knowledge on conflict mitigation and management that enables people to live in peace among.
He explains that the youth are the pride and hope of the country.
The Minister Duku spoke at Yei Freedom Square during the launch of the peace tournament in Yei on Friday.
