Priest calls for Supports to Central African Republic refugees in South Sudan

The Parish Priests of Ave Maria Ngboko and St Thomas in the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio appeal for humanitarian support to refugees from Central African Republic
 
Fr. Avelino Bassols Rheinfelder says there is high influx of refugees who have been forced by suspected Islamist fighters to cross to South Sudan, Anisa radio reports.
 
He discloses that the refugees have reported a case of a burnt Catholic Church in Bambuti by the fighters and Christians ran for safety to Tambura State.
 
Fr Basols adds the government of Tambura State will allocate a place for the refugees to settle in this week as they are scattered in the state.
 
Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio promised to raise the report to the government and other UN agencies.
