Anglican ArchBishop of Sudan and South Sudan Justin Badi Arama on Thursday in Yambio elected Bishop Samuel Peni new Archbishop of the Internal Province of Western Equatoria.
Archbishop Badi praised the faithful for their prayers to get a new Archbishop to lead the Province.
The primate installed the Archbishop on the first Sunday of Lent to lead the flock of God.
The Archbishop Badi appreciated the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala and the Miserior partners for the great work they are doing.
He also thanks the Solidarity International for their great service in the education sector.
The Western Equatorial internal province has been without a Bishop for four months after the death of the late Archbishop Peter Munde on 27th October last year.
The Arch bishop was speaking on Thursday during a dinner Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro organized in honour of the Miserior delegation in Yambio.
