The listeners of Don Bosco Radio on Friday during the International Women Day celebration said females all over the world need a lot of encouragement on their daily activities.
Thon Deng Ngor, one of the callers, says it is the duties of every society to give women courage and freedom of speech in order to exercise their talents.
He mentions that women are the light of families and the merciful group on earth.
Another caller, Akech Nyin-Arol, explains that much respect should be given to women for they are the one who teaches from the childhood to the adulthood
He states that in the absent of mother non- of people will not be known as great person.
Ajok Dut, one of the women, expresses her optimism and gratitude to the world in general for creating the Women’s International Day to recognize and consider them in any activity.
She points out that most women in South Sudan are still suffering from gender-based violence due to weakness of government role.
Ajok explains that women should be considered in every institution and give them the same equality as men.
She appeals to the government to allow women to take part in coming transitional of government at all levels.
The speakers were speaking over telephone call during the International Women’s Day program on Don Bosco Radio on Friday under the theme: Balance for better’.
