USAHP distributes scholastic materials to 100 orphans in Yambio

Union for Struggle against HIV/AIDS and Poverty in Gbudue State distributed scholastic materials to one hundred orphans in various primary schools under the theme: ‘Early Child Education to Orphans in Yambio’.
 
Speaking during the distribution USAHP founder Justin Badias calls upon pupils to make good use of the materials appropriately, Anisa Radio reports.
 
He appeals to people living with HIV/AIDS virus to be committed taking their drugs while calling on partners to assist them with Food.
 
Badias explains that in Yambio, Maridi and Tombura some people who are living with HVI/AIDS have stop taking their drugs due to scarcity of food.
 
He calls upon beneficiaries to take education as their first priority because through learning they can change South Sudan.
 
USAHP Executive Director Justin Wodupai Francis says parents should not depend on what the partners are doing, but put much effort to also support the orphans.
 
He said his organization will continue to support the orphans if they get more supports from donors.
 
Mama Livia Angelo caretaker representative says it is a collective responsibility to support orphans.
 
Moses John, one of the beneficiaries, appreciates USAHP for the initiative taken to help them.
 
He calls on parents not to depend on what they received, but work hard for their further studies.
 
50 female and 50 male orphans from baby class to P.8 in various primary schools in Yambio got the scholastic materials.
 
Each pupil received school bag, pens, six notebooks and many others.
