Western Lakes is witnessing peace within the state in the last five months, according to deputy governor.
William Koje says Rumbek has got no more gunshot and attack among the communities around the state, Voice of Hope Radio reports.
He mentions that they have set up good relationship with the neighbouring states on how to address cattle raiding for peace to prevail.
The deputy governor discloses that the government is exerting more efforts to ensure that there is no more conflict among people of Lakes States and their neighbors.
Through cooperation people can live together in a peaceful way, the deputy governor points out.
The deputy governor spoke to Voice of Hope Radio in the sideline national dialogue conference in Wau on Tuesday.
