South Sudan Minister of Interior has launched 112 Emergency Call Centre or ECC in Wau State for citizens to call in case of emergency.
Michael Chiengjiek in his opening remarks says the call centre aims at providing security service to the citizens.
Chiengjiek calls on policemen and security organs to respond to citizen’s call when necessary.
He advised citizens not to fear police forces and security organs.
The Minister also appeals to the IDPs to return home because there is an emergency call centre for security service.
He advises civilians to go directly to the point whenever they call the emergency number.
Chiengjiek warned drunkard not to call the emergency number.
Minister of Interior made these remarks during the launching of 112 emergency call number at the police head quarter in Wau town.
