Primary 8 result is very low compared to 2017, says Minister

Wau State Ministry of Education announces the Primary Leaving Certificate for 2019 and private schools dominated the top ten.
 
Mario John Nyibang told the press during the announcement of the result that the number of students who sat for last year’s exams had increased to 3535 compared to 2017
 
John mentions that performance is lower compared to the previous results in the past years.
 
He notes that the ministry will investigate the reason for the poor performance in government schools. 
 
The minister advises the student failed to be optimistic and work hard for better results.
He appeals to parents to support their children as well as the school administration.
 
The official was speaking during the announcement for Primary Leaving Certificate results in Wau State.
