Women association and Justice and peace commission of the Catholic Diocese of Wau organized a one day women’s rights workshop for vulnerable women in Wau.
Program manager of Justice and Peace Muzama Asunta says that the training was requested by Vulnerable Children Organization.
Legal advisor for Justice and Peace commission George Charles mentions there is need for more awareness on women’s rights in the community.
He urges the participants to make good use of the knowledge obtained during the workshop.
Chairperson of Vulnerable Children Organization Coletta Aku says this is the first time the organization is training women on their rights.
She appeals to other organizations to support them so that they can sensitize women on various issues
