Hundreds of citizens in Abyei Administrative Area on Thursday went to UNISFA office requesting Emidad Company to go out from the area.
Chief Bakat Makauc Abiem said the local staff working with UNISFA and community of Abyei area has went on peaceful demonstration due to the lack of understanding between the Emdad Company and its employees.
The chief says the local staffs are not happy with the Jordon Contraction Company for the new system taken by the company in term of payment of salaries and social insurances.
Chairman of Internal Contractor Jeliy Ajang confirms that the staff went on peaceful demonstration due to lack of understanding after series of meetings between the company, UNISFA and staff.
The demonstrators handed over the petition to UNISFA office on Thursday and are waiting for response after two days.
