Government and partners discuss return of Pakaam from Eastern Lakes

The government of Western Lakes State in partnership with non-governmental organizations on Tuesday discussed the return of Pakaam community to their residential areas of Rumbek north.
 
Acting Governor of Western Lakes State William Koji Kirjok says Pakaam community who are in Yirol creates an emergency movement to return in the state, Good News Radio reports.
 
He discloses that strong youth who are with cattle departed already leaving vulnerable children and women behind.
 
Kirjok urges all partners to join hands with the government to provide transportation to those left behind.
 
‘As government we will deploy more forces along their route of returning to make sure they arrive safely’, The Acting Governor pledges.
 
Western Lakes State Education Minister Dut Makoi says these people were there without learning facilities, but now will have excess to education in the state.
